Albert Handsaker
Mountain Home - Albert A Handsaker of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away April 5, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born October 19, 1937, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Arthur and Marvel Cole Handsaker. He was a United States Air Force veteran. While he lived in Lincoln, Nebraska, he worked for the Burlington Northern RailRoad and several other jobs before moving to California. Albert lived in Mountain Home since moving from California in 2002. He married Carol on June 14, 2010, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was a member of the Twin Lakes Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed working on cars. Albert is survived by his wife, Carol Handsaker of Mountain Home, AR; three daughters, Shelley McGilvrey, Dana Watkins, and Stacia Bannon; two step-sons, Tyler Tvrz and Scott Tvrz and their families; his sister, Phyllis Bauer; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his second wife, Martha. Visitation will be Friday, April 9, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Twin Lakes Church of the Nazarene, with Reverend Johnny Ray Lake officiating. Due to current restrictions, masks are required. Memorials may be made to Twin Lakes Church of the Nazarene or a charity of choice. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
