Sally Olson, 75

A Memorial Service for Sally May Olson of Norfork, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Thursday, January 15, 2015 , at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Paster Wade Moser officiating.

Sally passed away January 9, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 75. She was born September 4, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of High and Jesse Snyder Wessels. She married Ronald Olson on September 14, 1959, in Chicago and worked as a homemaker. Sally lived in Norfork since 1971, moving from Crystal Lake, Illinois. Sally truly enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and watching movies.

Sally is survived by her husband, Ronald Olson of Norfork, AR, seven children; Richie (Tina) Olson of Jordan, AR, Dawn Parnell of Jordan, Debbie (Kieth) Parnell of Calico Rock, AR, Randy (Traci) Olson, Jeanie (George) Clark of Pineville, AR, Ronald (Carrie) Olson, Jr. of Jordan, AR, Sally Stanfield of Jordan, AR, Sally had 25 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren and several sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Michael Stanfield and one brother.

I was so sorry to hear of Sally's passing. My thoughts and prayers to Ronald, Debbie, Dawn, and the entire Olson family. Sally was like a second mother to me during my early teens. The world just isn't quite as bright without her.
