Aubra Lee Haught beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at the age of 79. Aubra was born in Wallace, West Virginia on August 21, 1932 to Robert and Elzora Haught. Having a passion and aptitude for mathematics and technology, Aubra was a licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio and Texas. He also received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. His professional career began with Diamond Alkali where he worked for over 30 years and concluded when he retired as a contractor for NASA. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 947 and was an avid ham radio operator, computer and technology enthusiast and family handyman extraordinaire. Aubra is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Margaret Haught; three children David Haught, Deborah Bembry and Christopher Haught; six grandchildren; and his brothers Argyle, John and Ancel Haught. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Judith Toney. A memorial service was held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Dickinson, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research, ALZinfo.org.
