Bonnie M. Rankin was born November 16, 1927 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed peacefully March 11, 2012 at her home in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her: husband, B.J. of Houston, TX; parents, John and Tommie Sullivan of Sulphur, LA; and brother, Walter Sullivan of Houston, TX. She is survived by her: son, Bill Rankin and his wife Debbie of Lake Jackson, TX; brother, J.D. Sullivan and his wife Darlene of Austin, TX; grandson, Alex of Lake Jackson, TX; and nieces, Jeanie Sullivan of Austin, TX, Janet Sullivan of Dallas, TX, and Donna Posavitz and family of Dallas, TX. Special thanks to Bonnie's many caregivers; especially Ms. Rhonda Tate and family. Great thanks to Bonnie's loving friends and neighbors. Bonnie was an animal lover with special devotion to her long-time companion, (Mac) the Macaw! Bonnie desired an immediate and private burial which occurred on March 14, 2012 in Lake Charles, Louisiana beside her husband and parents at Highland Memory Gardens.
