Bryden Rasmussen, 92, of Dickinson, TX, formerly of Clear Lake, TX, passed away January 4, 2017. Bryden was born to Hazel and Edwin Rasmussen in Ft. Myers, Florida. He proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps. Bryden worked as an engineer in Aerospace for many years and as a building inspector for the City of Houston. He was a loyal member of First United Methodist Church Dickinson and a member of their Men's Club. Bryden was also active in the Toastmaster's, the YMCA Silver Sneakers, and square dancing with various local clubs. He enjoyed playing clarinet and saxophone with the Lee College Community Band and the Pearland Community Band. Bryden was preceded in death by his parents.

Bryden is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Mary Rasmussen, daughters Kathryn Ann Rasmussen Ivy and husband Ernest, Susan Lee Rasmussen Monroe, and Nancy Jean Rasmussen and partner Richell Bennett, and grandchildren Christen Alese Monroe Cutrone and husband Ethan, and Jordan Blair Monroe.

Memorial Service were held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at First United Methodist Church Dickinson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, www.dav.org.
