Charles Ronald "Ron" Cheek, age 78, died on Friday, March 2, 2018 at his residence in League City, Texas.

A Celebration of Life service will be held from 5:00-7:00PM on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Clear Lake Presbyterian Church in the Fellowship Hall.

Mr. Cheek was born in Macon, Georgia and was the eldest son of the late Charlie Norman Cheek and Ruth Hinson Cheek of Eastman, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his brother, John "Butch" Cheek and sister, Linda Cheek Mullis.

Mr. Cheek proudly served in the United States Coast Guard, was a graduate of the University of Houston and was a Mechanical Engineer. He was a loving husband of 54 years, a loving father and grandfather and passionate supporter of youth sports in the Clear Lake area.

Survivors: Wife- Ann Tortorice Cheek of Houston, Texas. Daughters- Rosemary Cheek Lagrone of Houston, Texas and Stephanie Cheek Boudreaux (Ryan) of Rosenberg, Texas. Grandchildren- Brooke Lagrone and Jenna Lagrone of Houston, Texas. Sister- Constance "Cookie" Cheek Seifert of Friendswood, Texas. Sister-in-Law - Jo Cheek of Eastman, Georgia. Brothers-in-Law- Joseph Tortorice (Brenda) of Rosharon, Texas and Vincent Tortorice of Spring, Texas. Several nieces and nephews.
