David Ross Linton - 68, of Friendswood, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Clear Lake Regional Vascular Hospital in Webster, Texas. This was his final resting place before going home and joining his fallen son Nikolas Linton.

He leaves his wife of 30 years, Susan Linton, his 3 daughters, Krista Squires, Janine Linton, and Vicki Linton, his son, Matthew Linton, his companion Candice Hill and his 4 grandchildren-Alyssa Patton, Zachery Gjsound, Breanna Gjsound, and Cadence Simpson.

In his early years, Mr. Linton served in the military. He chose the Army and enlisted in August of 1966, by July 1967, he completed the 4 months of Officer Candidate School, which promoted him to Lieutenant when he went to Vietnam from 1967-1968. His active duty ended in July 1969 and he did 3 yrs in the reserves.

David's Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church located at 1207 West Winding Way Drive in Friendswood, Texas on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2 pm. Please come join us as we celebrate his life and what an amazing man he was.
