affectionately known to her family and friends as "Grandma" or "Tiny", passed away at the age of 96 on July 17, 2013, in Webster, TX. She was born on July 4, 1917 in Waterproof, LA to Nicholas and Sarah Ruffin. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Calvert Fryday and is survived by her: sons, Jack Cornelius Fryday and wife Marcy, Ralph Arnold Fryday and wife Jacque and Cecil Edward Fryday and wife Becky; grandchildren, Bryan Lawrence Fryday and wife Aubrey, Christopher Lee Fryday and wife Sheena, and Amanda Lynn Fryday; great grandchildren, Nathan Lawrence Fryday, Hayden Bryce Fryday and Jackson Lee Fryday and numerous family members and friends.

De Etta owned and retired from her business Fryday's Alterations. She had a passion for flowers and loved to cook and spend time with her family.

The morning of Saturday a Graveside Service and Memorial Service were held. Memorial donations may be made in De Etta's memory to: Webster First Baptist Church, Building Fund, 420 Slossen Street, Webster, TX 77598. Crowder Funeral Home, WEbster.
