Edward William Lenggenhager, Jr., age 67, of Friendswood, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 in Flower Mound, Texas after a battle with esophageal cancer. Ed was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 12, 1944 to Edward William Lenggenhager, Sr. and Emma Lenggenhager.

Ed was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Lenggenhager.

Ed is survived by his, father, Edward William Lenggenhager, Sr.; sons, Edward W. Lenggenhager, III of League City, Texas and Steven J. Lenggenhager and his wife, Lindsey of Austin, Texas; daughter, Lisa L. Gates and her husband, Brad of Flower Mound, Texas; sisters, Patricia King and her husband, Charlie of Little Rock, Arkansas and Marilyn Lenggenhager of Little Rock, Arkansas; brother, Mike Lenggenhager and his wife, Cecelia of Shawnee, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at Marinas Mexican Restaurant, 3500 West Main Street, League City, TX 77573 from 4 - 6 pm on November 19, 2012.

In keeping with his wishes, Ed's ashes will be scattered in the Nueces River in Central Texas.
