He spent his early years in the rolling hills of southeastern, Pa. He enjoyed school, friends, sports, model airplanes and camping/boating with his family. After attending TAMU and UHCL/DT, he graduated with a B.S. degree in Math which he later expanded to an M.S. in Math so he could secure full-time positions at San Jacinto Jr. College and Galveston College. His later years were spent as a single man, selling his mother's art work and battling mental illness to the end. He will be missed by many people in the community. Joseph is preceded in death by his mother, Laura R. Farley. He is survived by his father, Carl W. Farley; sister, Anne Farley and his step-mother, Judy Farley.
