The Guest Book is expired.

Born in Crockett, TX January 3rd, 1922, had been a proud citizen of Nassau Bay for the last 44 years. Joy was a woman ahead of her time, many would say. She inspired great strength, faith, courage and will. A patriots' patriot, she served among the WAACS in England during WWII. She was later appointed Postmaster in Rosenberg, TX and in 1962 became employed at NASA JSC at its inception. She held several positions with NASA and retired as a program analyst for the Shuttle Program in the early 1980's. Of her many accomplishments, the most enduring was that of daughter, wife, Mother, Grandmommy, GG, family member and friend. She will be missed dearly by the many lives she touched. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Karen, her grandchildren, Christian and Jennifer and great grandchildren, Olivia, Chloe and Finley. She is also greatly missed by her beloved canines, Kadie and Muggles. We celebrate knowing that she is finally reunited with the love of her life, Dick and many other loved ones who went before. The family will greet friends at 6 pm to be followed by a celebration of her life at 7 pm at Clear Lake United Methodist Church,16335 El Camino Real,Houston, TX 77062 on Monday, September 29th.
