Lester Donald Galvin, 81, died on August 12, 2012 at home in Nassau Bay, Texas. He was born on September 27, 1930 in Denver, Colorado, lived most of his adult life in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Houston when he married Maggie Corcoran in 2001.

Lester was predeceased by his wife Rose and brother Michael. He is survived by his wife Maggie Corcoran; his daughter, Marin Swienton, husband Gerry and son Aidan; sons Christopher and his sons Shaun and Eric and wife Ainara; Patric and wife Rebecca; Declan, wife Amy and son Cormac; sisters Mary Sue Gibbons and husband Robert; Margaret Neumann and Jeanne Bowser; brother Larry and wife Cheryl. He is also survived by Maggie's four children and their families.

Lester served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea. He owned his own insurance business in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After selling his agency, he traveled throughout the country as a storm adjuster for Pilot Catastrophe.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 18223 Point Lookout Drive, Nassau Bay, Texas 77058. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Paul's on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Denver, Colorado at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Paul's Men's ACTS Retreats at the address above.
