Lilian Norman Keeney passed away peacefully and went to our Lord April 2, 2013. Lilian is survived by her husband Jon, her son's Jeff and David Norman, and their spouses Elizabeth and Bonnie Norman. She is also survived by her step daughter Laura Keeney Spalding and her husband Charlie Spalding. Lilian is blessed as her legacy will be carried forward by her six granddaughters Katelyn Norman, Rachel Norman, Anne Norman, Emily Norman, Matti Spalding and Ellie Spalding. Lilian was born in Gateshead, England and immigrated to America to pursue the American dream. As a woman of great character, enduring strength and unbounded love for her family and friends, she did in life achieve her dream for herself, her sons and her grandchildren. Lilian will be remembered for her positive impact on every interest in her life. Her recent activities include State Commissioner Texas Department License & Regulation, Mayor Elect Taylor Lake Village, District Director Texas Federation of Republican Women, and Past President Bay Area Republican Women. She was active in the Houston Symphony League Bay Area, Daughters of the British Empire and worked to support Mt. Batten House a home for the elderly. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday April 6 at 11:00 AM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Nassau Bay, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lilian Norman Keeney Memorial Fund, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
