Michelle (Shelly) Demetrios Schirner was born in Galveston, Texas on April 22, 1954. She passed from this life on December 30, 2015 at age 61 in White Settlement/Fort Worth, Texas. She lived in Hitchcock, Texas until her family moved to Nassau Bay, Texas and she attended St Thomas Church in Nassau Bay. Shelly graduated from Clear Creek High School and attended San Jacinto College. She then married her high school sweetheart Bryce Schirner and moved to the Fort Worth area.. Shelly and Bryce spent forty years happily together, serving as members of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Fort Worth.

A memorial service was held on January 9, 2016 in White Settlement, TX. She is preceded in death by her father, Michael J Demetrios, Sr. Survivors included her husband Bryce Schirner of 40 years, her mother LaVaughn Bohne Demetrios Luker.and step-father John T. Luker, sisters Rhonda DeWeese and husband Charles and Chris McBride and brothers Michael J Demetrios, Jr. and wife Susan and Gary (Randy) Demetrios, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends, including her life-long friends Peggy Ross and Diane (Bow) Hubbell and her cousin Resa Jackson.
