Patricia Jo Lyon, age 71, died in Webster, Texas on Monday, June 30, 2014 after long and valiant battle with heart disease. Born August 13, 1942 in Houston, Texas to Bessie née Brodnax and Joseph Jones, she graduated from Stephen F. Austin high school in 1958. She received her Associate's degree in business from San Jacinto College and was a member of many notable Human Resources professional organizations. She was married to Leo Lyon and Terry DeWolf respectively.

Pat lived the majority of her adult life in League City, Texas and worked at Calgon Corporation until retiring in 2000 where she forged many wonderful friendships and enjoyed much success. She adored socializing with loved ones, vacationing at the river, painting, and cuddling with her dogs. Pat will be especially remembered for her passionate devotion to family, friends, and animals over her remarkable lifetime. She lived well and loved well.

Pat was preceded in death by infant son James Lyon; step-son, Terry Sean DeWolf; step-father James Bunn, and dearly beloved mother Bessie "Pidge" Bunn. She is survived by son, Eric Lyon, League City, Texas; daughter, Shannon Bach, League City, Texas; step-daughter Lisa Clark, LaPorte, Texas; grandson, Terrence Lyon, League City, Texas; granddaughter Christen Bracewell, Spring, Texas; grandson Reagan Bach, League City, Texas; great-Granddaughter, Alexus Bracewell, Spring, Texas, and her cherished pets Baxter and Buffy.

Celebration of Life services will be held at the gazebo in League Park, 512 Second Street, League City, Texas on July 12, 2014 at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers are welcome at the Houston area SPCA, 900 Portway Drive, Houston, Texas 77024.

Thanks to the staff at Clear Lake Memorial hospital, and friends Bonnie Blanton, and Viola Hernandez for their help and support during Pat's trying time.
