We lost our precious Tessa on May 11, 2016. She was the only girl in our small family, and was our little princess. Her zest for life never diminished, even as she fought for her life over the past two and a half years. She continued to brighten all of our lives with her beauty, intelligence, sense of humor, and never-ending enthusiasm for all the world had to offer. She loved music and had a beautiful voice. She traveled to many different countries; her most memorable trip was backpacking across Europe in her college days. Above all, Tessa was kind. With much thought and love, Tessa made things happen. She loved people and she loved animals, even endangering her life several times while rescuing one of God's creatures in need. Tessa was very independent and very determined. She was the "go to" person for everyone in her life: her colleagues, her friends, and her family. So many lives were influenced by Tessa.

Tessa graduated from Clear Lake High School and The University of Houston and was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She always strived for excellence. Her career was spent in new home sales where she rose to the top of her profession, winning several awards year after year. Her magnetic personality and positive energy lifted the spirits of everyone she met, and for this reason, she had hundreds of friends. To everyone she knew, she was one of a kind.

Tessa was born January 24, 1970 in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother and grandfather, Lillian and Maurice Wilkins and maternal grandfather, Neal Foust. She is survived by her parents, Gerald and Fonda Wilkins; brother, Trace Wilkins; grandmother, Zane Foust; aunt, Amber Kilgore; uncle, Chuck Kilgore; cousins, Clint, Brandon, and Trevor Kilgore and his children, TJ and Ally; and special friend, Eric Nelson, as well as many, many dear friends and adopted pets.

Her sparkling eyes and radiant smile will always be remembered by all who knew her. We are heartbroken, but she will live on in our hearts forever.

The memorial service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 21st of May, 2016 at Clear Lake United Methodist Church, 16335 El Camino Real, Houston, 77062.

Reception following service at Noah's Event Venue, 3920 Gulf Freeway, Dickinson, 77539. (10 miles from church)
