longtime resident of Taylor Lake Village, Texas, died August 4, 2013. Mrs. Croce was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 6, 1924 to Robert and May Burnett Muir. She attended Brooklyn College and received a BSN degree from UTMB and an MA from UHCL. She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau honor society and the Atheneum Study Club. Before retirement Mrs. Croce was a clinical instructor at San Jacinto College and had a psychotherapy practice for several years. She is survived by her: husband of 65 years, Louis J. Croce; daughter, Jean Croce Demro and her husband James Demro, son, James Muir Croce and his wife Gwendolyn Roby Croce; grandchildren Craig, Steven and Cristin Croce; sister, Catherine Muir Ferlito; brothers, Robert, Frank, Edward, William and their spouses, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 24, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church on 3131 El Dorado Blvd in Clear Lake City. A celebration of her life will follow at Lakewood Yacht Club, 2425 NASA Pkwy, Seabrook. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Catholic Charities of Galveston/Houston or a .
