Sheila Sykora Obituary
Sheila worked for and retired from AT&T after many years of service. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting and reading. In retirement Sheila enjoyed her children, grandchildren and reading.
Sheila is survived by daughter, Madelyn Sykora of Camp Hill, Pa.; daughter, Sheila and husband, Ken Nellis, of Latham, N.Y.; daughter, Susan Humes of Chapman; son, Marcus Jr. and wife, Barbara Sykora, of Kansas City, Mo.; daughter, Sylvia and husband, Bob Buob, of Chapman; grandchildren, Bruce Nellis, Rebekah and husband, Ed Kennedy, Sarah and husband, Josh Small, Anne and husband, Ron Nellis, Thomas Everett, Jeannette and husband, Aaron Fackler, Jennifer Tidwell, Alexandrea and husband, Josh Cheney, Katherine Buob, and Jacob Buob. Sheila is also survived by her sisters, Marilee Smith, Andrea and husband, Hal Snow, and Michelle McRae; many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Peter Smith.
Private services were held at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sheila's memory to American Cancer Society of Maine, One Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086 or Mark and Emily Turner Memorial Library, 39 Second St., Presque Isle, ME 04769. To the Sykora Children, You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Peggy and I talked on the phone Sunday night remembering all of our goods times with your mom when we all worked for "Ma Bell". She was truly a remarkable lady who left a great legacy in her five children. God Bless you all.

So sorry for the families loss. I worked with Sheila at AT&T. She helped train me for my job and knew her job well. She later helped put on my bridal shower which was held at her house. Also got to know Marc at company activities. Such loving people and will be truly missed. Prayers go out to all the family.
