BELFAST - Eugene H. Littlefield, 85, passed away April 6, 2013, in Belfast. He was born May 5, 1927, in Canton, Mass., son of Henry and Selena (Carson) Littlefield.

He was an U.S. Army veteran who worked as a farmer during his lifetime.

Eugene was predeceased by his parents; and his wife, Wilda, in 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Smith and husband, Roy and son, Eugene Littlefield, all of Belfast; siblings, Warren Littlefield and Gloria of Florida, Maurice Littlefield and wife, Julia, of Virginia, Beverly Thomas and husband, Roy, of Morrill, and Gary Littlefield and special friend, Viola, of Belfast; grandchildren Rick Smith and wife, Jennifer, Derek Smith, Staci Carpenters and husband, Miles, Joshua Watkins and wife, Sharon and Katie Littlefield and Lyle Littlefield; great-grandchildren, Ricky IV, Timmy Smith, Drew Abalon, Laura Carpenter, Alissa Ryder and Haley Watkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Jim Culbertson officiating at Littlefield Cemetery, 140 Poors Mills Road, Belfast.
