Scott William Ferrell passed away suddenly but peacefully on April 15th, 2021 at his home in Jacksonville Beach. Scott was born on October 25, 1963 to Ronnie and Suzanne Ferrell in Dallas, TX. His family moved to Neptune Beach in January 1973 where he became a life-long resident of the beaches.
He attended Atlantic Beach School and joined Beaches Chapel School & church. Scott excelled at academics and sports, especially basketball. He graduated from Fletcher High School and attended Florida State.
He is survived by his mother Suzanne M. Ferrell, brothers, Douglas and Jonathan Ferrell; aunt Joyce M. Marches, of NC; uncle Harry McKinny, CA. cousins, Joan and Jack Hayes, NC, Will and Nancy Mackay, NJ, Bobby McClasky, CA, Diane de Hahn, NH, Linda Daly, MA, Elaine and John Powers, NJ, He is predeceased by his beloved father Ronnie Ferrell, Gertrude and John MacKay, Joan Hills, Michael & Timothy Hanson, Ian McClasky.
Scott was congenial, charming and a spirit lifter. His work in the hospitality field came easily to him. Most important in his life was his dedication to Jesus, his family and friends.
Scott survived a tragic pedestrian accident 2 1/2 years ago. He was helped to recover by many doctors and nurses. Later after recovering at home Scott joined the Ministry Adventures of God's Creation in the SeaWalk Hotel. There he was refreshed physically and spiritually. Many dear friends remain close to him.
He was loved by his Jesus, his family and friends. His gracious charm and handsome smile blessed many people.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 4th at 1:30 p.m. in the Beaches Museum White Chapel with Jimbo Stockton officiating. Refreshments fellowship to follow in the Beaches Museum historical cabin. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Red Cross LIfe Savers Corp or the Ministry at Adventures of God's Creation.

Grief can be so hard, Scottie I am so so sad at your passing. A true Gentleman indeed. Scottie loves his mommy and family so much. And was a gem.. gonna miss ya Buddy ❤
