Billy Harrington Obituary

Billy Ray Harrington, 77, of Beaumont, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, October 7, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Billy Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Varice Harrington and Alice Green Clay; and brother, Everett Harrington. He is mourned by his family: daughter, Beth Willis and her husband, Dave, of Sour Lake; son, Michael Bro Harrington and his wife, Thais, of LaBelle; daughter, Shari Harrington of LaBelle; grandchildren, Derek Willis, Paige Sandlin, Dylan Willis, and Destini White; and brother, Charlie Harrington. Billy Ray spent most of his life in Beaumont. He loved fishing and making people laugh. Billy Ray always had a smile and a joke to tell. His love of music was passed down to his children and grandchildren, including his guitar talent. He loved all animals and was nicknamed Dr. Doolittle, for his way with them. His family could always count on an I love you whenever they saw him, and he will truly be missed by them all. At his request, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humane Society of Southeast Texas, P.O. Box 1629, Beaumont, Texas 77704. Complete and updated information may be found at: broussards1889.com.
