Mr. and Mrs. Reeves meant the world to me, he would listen and laugh at the latest stories about my kids and answer countless questions about gardening and chickens, and Mrs. Reeves was the perfect combination of my gadget loving Granny and my East Texas tough MawMaw. I saw them only for a few hours twice a week but for 2 years I looked forward to those days. My kids adored them and my son would make me take knives he would get for birthdays, etc to show them after Mr. Reeves sparked an interest in knife collecting in him. I miss them both and am truly sorry for your great loss.

I remember Uncle Travis and Aunt LauRue taking me to my first circus when they lived in Beaumont. I will never forget their kindness. Sorry that mother (Jean) could not attend the services, but she has lots of fond memories of Uncle Travis and she often shares them. So sorry for his loss.

We knew Travis from First Baptist Church,Cleveland,TX. He and LaRue were such nice, good people. We will really miss him. He took such good care of LaRue while she was so sick that we only saw him when we were able to visit in thier home. They were good dear people that the world needs more of. Your Dad was the BEST. So sorry about Travis. He was one of the good guys. He and LaRue have been friends since our days in Beaumont in the 1950's We visited often with them in their home and at their camphouse. We went to church with them for
many years. Travis and I had lots of great white perch trips to Toledo Bend.
He and LaRue will be missed.
