Gavin Christopher Rivers, 5 months old, died Monday, December 31, 2012, at Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital, Houston. He was born on July 30, 2012, to Aimee Rieson Rivers and Christopher Rivers, in Beaumont. Survivors include his parents; sister, Emilee Rivers; grandparents, Melanie Rivers, Robin and Dottie Rivers, Teresa and Clyde Rieson; great-grandparents, Mary Maxwell, Barbara and Elmer Rivers, Ethel Lorenz, and Ed Lorenz; and aunts and uncles; Nina and Nathan Rivers, Paden Rivers, Conner Rivers, Jennifer and Justin Rieson, Rebekah and Mark Welch, Laurah Rieson, Aaron Summers. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Randy Rivers; and great-grandfather, Glen Maxwell. A gathering of Gavin's family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, with interment to follow at China Cemetery, China.
