Sara Jolie Allardyce Rhine

Sara Jolie Allardyce Rhine passed away at 11:55 a.m., on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital, Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May, 31, 2008, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m., in Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana. Sara is preceded in death by her parents Adeline Heard Allardyce and Robert James Allardyce. She is survived by her sons Robert James Downing, John Reagan Rhine, Metri Jason Rhine and wife Lisa of Lumberton and Cecil Tobias Rhine and wife Jeannine of Jacksonville, Florida. She is remembered always by her five beloved grandchildren, Amber and Ashley of Liberty, Danielle of Nacogdoches, Justin of Lumberton, and Cecilia Jeanne of Jacksonville, Florida. Left to mourn her loss are her Aunt Vera Heard Ballis of Beaumont, her Uncle Lindsey Heard and Aunt Bernadine Johnson Heard of DeRidder, Louisiana, along with thirty first-cousins. A resident of Lumberton, Sara was born on August 4, 1940, in Beaumont. She was a 1959 graduate of South Park High School, and received her B.S in nursing from the University of Texas in Houston. She was a clinical nurse at Herman Hospital, Cleveland Memorial Hospital and Rusk State Hospital.
