RICHARD WILSON Obituary

Richard (Rick) Horace Wilson, age 57 of Spurger, TX died December 18th at Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. Born December 4th, 1952 he graduated from Spurger High and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by his mother, Henrietta Reeves of Spurger, his sons Derek and Matthew Wilson of Beaumont, his brothers Mike Garlaska of Spurger, Joseph Coleman of West Chester, Ohio, his sisters Cindy Dennison of Beaumont, and Clara Ashworth of Oakdale, La. As requested by Rick, he will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Bay Area Funeral Parlor 5410 FM 1765 Texas City, Texas 77591409-933-4300

Rick was a great person. We spent alot of time together after we got out of the Navy. I feel being a friend of Rick's made me a better person. My condolences go out to his family and friends. He will be missed, tremendously. God Bless.
