Kathy Sandlin Obituary
Kathy Sandlin, 52, of Carlyle, Ill., born on March 25, 1960, in Belleville, Ill., entered into rest on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at her residence in Carlyle, Ill.
Kathy worked at the Chrysler factory in St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Vessels.
Surviving are her husband, Ernest Sandlin of Carlyle, Ill., whom she married on May 8, 1992, in St. Louis, Mo.; her mother, Barbara, nee Chambliss, Vessels Morales of Belleville, Ill.; two daughters, Samantha (Christopher) Balsai of Granite City, Ill., and Erika (Jeffery) Van Tassell of Magna, Utah; four grandchildren, Taylor and Audrey Balsai and Morgan and Mackenzie Vantassell; a sister, Vickie Killiher; and three brothers, Jerry Calvin, Michael Vessels and Terry Vessels.
Memorials in memory of Mrs. Sandlin may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and will be received at the funeral home. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting www.zierenday.com.
