Thomas Feltman

Thomas "Brad" Feltman, 80, of O'Fallon, IL, born Monday, January 10, 1938, in O'Fallon, IL, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018. at his residence surrounded by family.

Brad was a 1956 graduate of O'Fallon Township High School. He was an engineer for T.R.R.A. Railroad for 38 years. He was devoted to the love of his life, his wife, Doris "Ann" Feltman.

He pursued life to the fullest and leaves this world with a legacy of family and friends who will continue to pass along his adventures of digging, fishing, mushroom hunting, gardening, Cardinal baseball games, family dinners, outing with friends, and a plethora of practical jokes both given and received.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas L. "Wimp" and Laura "Mick" Feltman, nee Eagle; and sister, Gloria Jean Feltman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Doris "Ann" Feltman, nee Grass, whom he married on April 3, 1961; three children, Lisa (Darrell) Pratt of Lebanon, IL, Mark Feltman of O'Fallon, IL, and David (Christy Spence) Feltman of O'Fallon, IL; one brother, Dan (Mary) Feltman of Lake Barkly, KY; five grandchildren, Laura Marsh, Dallas Feltman, James Pratt, Justin Pratt, and Lexie Spence; as well as two great-grandchildren, Harlee Pratt and Colton Pratt.

In honor of Brad, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 333 Salem Pl #165, Fairview Heights, IL 62208. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.schildknechtfh.com.

Services: Celebration of his life will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 S. Lincoln Ave., O'Fallon, IL 62269.
