Karl Parrish passed away on February 18, 2018 in Bellingham, WA. Karl was born on January 1, 1946 in Seattle, WA to Karl and Dorothy Parrish. Karl graduated from the University of Washington with a BS is Chemical Engineering and later returning to get his MS in Environmental Engineering. He began his career at Shell Oil in Anacortes, WA and later moved to Bellingham to work for Hallanger Engineering which later became CH2M Hill. After retiring, he returned to work for Kestrel Engineering. Karl was an avid sports fan and a loyal UW Husky supporter and travelled to many games. He was predeceased by his parents. Karl is survived by his wife Gay, brother and sister-in-law Jim and Cheri Minorchio, 3 nephews Michael, Nicholas and John Minorchio and niece Megan Ashford. Memorials may be made to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
