Rick passed away July 1,2017 at Kadlec Hospital in Richland, Wa. Born to Dick and Shirley Barrett, he grew up in Bellingham where he went to school and graduated from Bellingham High School in 1971. He is survived by wife, Camille of 37 years; two four-footed children, Shea and Pearl, mother Shirley Barrett of Bothell, sister, Nancy Camp of Pasco, her sons Adam and Aaron Camp of Seattle, brother-in-law, Steve Woiblet (Kathy) and sons Adam(Amy) and Ben Woiblet of Walla Walla, uncle Gene Carson, cousin Tim Carson of Snohomish. He was an avid "Twitterer" with quite a following.He enjoyed building computers and all the latest technology. He loved his little Honda's first an INSIGHT and then the CRZ, but after his commutes during the week he just liked being home on the weekends enjoying movie nights with the wife and kids. A gathering "Remembering Rick" will be held at "The Rock Wood-Fired Kitchen", 4862 W. Hildebrand Blvd, in Kennewick, Saturday, March 3 at 1 p.m. Pizza will be served.
