Sebastian Michael Mendes

Sebastian Mendes died unexpectedly doing what he loved, bicycling around Lake Whatcom. Sebastian was a Professor of Interdisciplinary Art and Sculpture, and was Head of the Sculpture Department at Western Washington University in Bellingham. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Theresa Smith, and his beloved son Gabriel Mendes.
