Alice Norris DiNizo, 75, passed away on January 29, 2021 at the Toms River Community Medical Center. Alice was born in NY on May 1, 1945 and raised in Arlington, VT. She was the daughter of the late Donald J. Norris and Helen B. Norris.

She was the valedictorian and graduate of Arlington Memorial High School (1963), Simmons University and Rutgers University where she received her Master's in Education and Library Science. Alice worked as a librarian most of her life, she just retired a few years ago. She worked in NJ schools and public libraries. She was an avid reader all her life.

Later in life Alice went on to publish a few novels, she wrote under the name J.B. DiNizo. Some of the titles were Diary Secrets, Without Harry Dean and Imperfect Past. Alice described herself as a Civil War buff and a devoted fan of President Abraham Lincoln. She was fascinated with people and how they live their lives. http://sbpra.com/jbdinizo/

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Walter F. DiNizo, her loving daughters Ellen Peifer and her fiance' Bill Maglio of Point Pleasant, NJ and Jane and her husband John Mawicke of Kenilworth, IL, her cherished grandchildren Corine Peifer, Jay, Grace and Anna Mawicke.

A small church mass will be held Saturday, February 13, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River, NJ 08757. https://www.stmaximiliankolbechurch.com/
