Norma Haley Obituary





Norma Jean Haley, 78, of Benton, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2018. She was born March 29, 1940, in McComb, Oklahoma, to the late Charley Anderson and Mary Frances Bolen Anderson. Norma was a member of Holland Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Benton Poe; and a son, Barry Haley.
Norma is survived by her husband, Dean Haley; a son, Dean Haley Jr.; four daughters, Tammie Aston, Cheryl Kesterson, Karen Aston and Pat Haley Coke; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Blade Ebbs, Chase Ebbs, Shad Kesterson, Clay Coke, Byron Chambers, Bobby Smith, Brett Haley and Brad Smith.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at Ashby Funeral Home, with Herb Kitchens officiating.
Burial will follow at Smith-Rosemont Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, prior to the funeral service.
