I worked for Gav as a research technician from 1991-1994. He was honorable and gave credit where it was due, I was able to author my own paper and project which gave me confidence I could fulfill any goal. I did go on to pursue 2 masters degrees in Psychology and now work as part of a medical team in Health Medicine. My condolences and deep appreciation-

We had a wonderful time together as postdocs at Hopkins 1975-1977. No contact since then but great memories. I am shocked and saddened.

Knew Gav at Hopkins where he was a fraternity brother and friend-albeit two years ahead of me at school. Would see him on East Side over the years and chat work, life, lacrosse from time to time. A wonderful man-with deepest condolences
