Jane Patterson, age 78 of Bessemer, AL went home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother and Grandmom. She was a faithful member of Shady Grove Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Loyal Grimes; mother, Gertrude Lowe; sister, Doris Cook; grandson, Terry David Patterson. Jane is survived by her husband of 58 years, Alvin Patterson; sons, Terry (Lori) Patterson, Scott (Martha) Patterson and Russell (Casie) Patterson; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sister, Gay Martin. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 6 PM until 8 PM at McCalla Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 1 PM at McCalla Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
