Anthony Joseph Gambone of Hendersonville, 70, passed unexpectedly June 17, 2017 in Valdez, Alaska where he was fishing with his beloved grandson. He was the son of Joseph and Carrie Giobbi Gambone.
A native of Dunbar, PA, he moved to Cleveland OH when he was 10. He served 3 years in the Army and was a Crew Chief / Door Gunner in Vietnam with the 189th Assault Helicopter Company. Dear Denise and family,

We were shocked and extremely saddened to hear of Tonys passing.

There isn't a Sunday Mass that goes by that we don't turn around expecting you both to be seated and ready for the customary pre-Mass conversation. It's a huge surprise to turn, expecting you, only to find a stranger sitting in YOUR seats. I cannot recall the number of times I've turned to say "well Tony, how was your week?" to be surprised by some guy I had never seen before.

More than anything we are going to miss the laughter that came from Tony when the priest shared a funny story...the visiting priest,Father John, comes to mind.

Please know that Tony and you and all your family are in our prayers at this time.

May God bless him and you,
Wes and Bev Cobb
