Hendersonville, NC-- Dennis Edward Dalton Jr. 62 of Hendersonville went home to be with the Lord Wednesday June 13, 2018 at Pardee Hospital.
Born October 28, 1955 in Badkureznach Germany, he was preceded in death by his father Dennis E. Dalton and one brother Rodric V. Dalton.
He lived in Edneyville most of his life, was a member of Mountain Home Baptist Church and was a graduate of Edneyville High School.
He was a talented and experienced rock mason. He loved to deer hunt and had a great passion for western movies.
He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce Kidd Dalton, two daughters Laura Dalton and Daphne Harwood and her husband Bubba, two sisters, Lois Fulcher and her husband Danny and Pamela J. Reese and her husband Tim, three grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica and Andrew, nephews, Brandon and his family Destiny and Nicolei, Zackary Fulcher and his family McKenzie and McKinley, Adam, and Travis Dalton, niece Aaron Graves and her family Clark, Dennis, Thomas and Aiden.
A funeral service will be held Saturday June 16, 2018 at Mountain Home Baptist Church, with the Rev. Craig Garren officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
