Tyrone Lewis Maybin Obituary
Zirconia, NC--Tyrone Lewis Maybin, 43, of Zirconia, NC went to meet Jesus on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Trauma ICU Mission Hospital.
He was a native of Henderson County and was preceded in death by his father, Theron Larnce Maybin Sr. and a brother, Terrence Leland Maybin.
He graduated from East Henderson High School in 1994. After graduation he continued at East Henderson High as a bus driver and also was a bus mechanic for Henderson County Schools. He enjoyed coon hunting, deer hunting, skull mounting, auctions and had his father's passion for farming.
He was a lifetime member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church where he occasionally played the bass.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Lois Jackson Maybin; three brothers, Theron Larnce Maybin Junior, his wife Cindy, their children, Lauren and Theron Larnce Maybin III; Seldon Alexander Maybin, his wife Brittany, their children, Leah and Ethan; Jess Arnold Maybin, his wife Jen, their children, Jocelyn and Jodi and a many loving Maybin members.
A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Friday at McDowell Family Cemetery on Rock Creek Road with Rev. Phillip Winters, Rev. Homer Maybin and Rev. Joe Maybin officiating. A celebration of Tyrone's life will follow at the Cedar Springs Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM where refreshments will be served.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cedar Springs Baptist Church.
