My name is Richard Kearney. I met Al in the mid 197O´s as a fellow attorney in The Gillette Company legal department. I thought the world of Al. Around 2001 Al worked with me at my small 5 person law office south of Boston. He departed In perhaps 2006 health considerations. I think of Al often and today sought to call his wife Sherry but none of the numbers worked and it saddened me. I wanted to tell her that it was I believe 50 years ago this year that I met Al. While working with me he did the legal research that enabled me to win an arbitration in Austin TX tried 2 days a month for 5 months. We prevailed but Al provided the engine that drove the vehicle. An understated class act an original and I knew it in 1974 and I know it now....thank you Al. I suspect no one will ever read this but if anyone knows where Sherry is I would so enjoy at 79 to say hello.

Al, i will join you for that bourbon, the jazz and the good book.
Happy you had a full, and interesting life, and glad you had someone with whom to share it.
We were close just a short time at the end of high school, and he truly represented the vast intellect, and sarcastic humor of WHHS grads. He was one of a kind!

Very sorry to learn of Als passing!
He was deep with a welcoming personality. Yes, he and Sherry shared a deep love.

A man I wish I could have met. Such an interesting life with so many talents and ideas.
So very sad to see such a human being taken by this dreadful disease at such a young age. R.I.P.

What an amazingly rich life. That is a great picture of Saunders and I think the obituary gives me a much fuller picture - 43 years....that's fantastic Sherry. What a special person you are - I'm so glad the universe put you two together!
