CARDINALE, Peter D. Lifelong resident and advocate of Jeffries Point, East Boston, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Joann (DiStasio) Cardinale. Devoted father of Joseph Gaeta of East Boston, Peter D. Cardinale and wife, Stella, of East Boston, Craig Cardinale and wife, Michelle, of Saugus, Peter Cardinale and wife, Patty, of California, and the late Louis Cardinale. Dear brother of Orazio Cardinale of East Boston, and the late Cosmo, Bennedetto, Frank, Joseph, Anna, and Mary. Cherished grandfather of Louis, Nicholas, Ava, Kellsie, Megan, and Christopher. Adored great-grandfather of Vincent, Gianni, Brody, Alessandra, and Brock. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor Peter's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) EAST BOSTON, on Tuesday, February 16th, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and again on Wednesday morning at 9:00 before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, East Boston, for a funeral Mass celebrating his life at 10:30 A.M. Services will conclude with Peter being laid to rest with his beloved wife, Joann, at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, Malden. Face coverings are required and social distancing practices encouraged.
