MARVIN ROSENTHAL Obituary

Rosenthal, Marvin 90, of Reading. WW II Veteran and dedicated community servant in Reading, Entered Eternal Rest on January 17, 2014. Mr. Rosenthal, a local businessman was a Past Chairman of the Board of Selectmen and longtime Reading Town Meeting Member. He organized and chaired the campaign to fund for the Reading Christmas lighting display. Mr. Rosenthal also spearheaded the committee to design and construct a new town library. Devoted husband of 64 years to Gloria (Brenner) Rosenthal. Beloved father of Paul Rosenthal and the late Mark Rosenthal. Cherished grandfather of Jonathan & his wife Omayra Rosenthal. Services at the Goldman Funeral Chapel 174 Ferry St. (off Route 60) MALDEN on Wednesday January 22 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10-11AM. Interment will be private. Condolence calls may be made following the funeral ceremony at his late residence until 8PM, Thursday 2-8PM and Friday 12-4PM.
