Certainly a life well lived; serving country, family, friends and community. You loved much and you loved well and we all knew it. You brought joy and laughter with you where ever you went. You were well loved and will be missed terribly. Thank you for Tim and thank you for loving us all so well and leaving your mark on all our hearts and lives.

To a great marine, patriot, father, and mentor, from the Drum Corp trips, Hampton Beach, Bowling leagues, still beating 100 at 80, how great of memories and now with Mom in Heaven, I can only imagine the pranks you will pull up their just to keep them on their toes. Much loved and missed already, the greatest man I ever knew. looking forward to see you again.

My sincere condolences to the Carroll family. I passed the secretarial duties of Lonnie's Bowling League to Bill around 1984. Bill's, now legendery good humor and dedication served him well in this role. He was a true gentlemen to anyone that had the pleasure of his company and I am fortunate to have been associated and bowled with Bill. He will be missed by many. Mike Stafford.

This is a nice feature of the Boston Globe. Blackie, over the last few yrs. we became pretty good friends. We had a lot of fun and I'm sorry to see you go. But I love you and I'll see you and Mom in the hereafter. Good Bye, Dad.
