BERMAN, Vivian Of Lexington and Gloucester, MA, 88 years of age, passed away peacefully on New Years Eve surrounded by family. Vivian, an acclaimed artist and printmaker, is survived by her loving husband, Samuel, her children, Mark, David, Jonas, and Michael, and her grandchildren, Noah, Lyn, Alexander, Zachary, Nicholas, Samantha, Madeline, Emma, and Alana. Vivian was born in NYC in 1928 and graduated from The Cooper Union in 1950. Her artwork has been exhibited worldwide and is in the permanent collections of many museums including the Library of Congress.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Monday, January 2nd at the home of David Berman and Sheryl Rosner, 9 Barberry Rd., Lexington, MA, from 2:00-5:00 pm. A memorial service celebrating Vivian's life, and a scholarship fund in her honor that will allow others to enjoy an affordable education at The Cooper Union, are being planned by the family and will be announced at a later date.
