What most civic minded a generous men I have the privilege to know. Always highly energized individual willing to help out. Both he and Lois some of the most wonderful people we had the pleasure of knowing while living in Needham. ( St. Peter will have the gates wide open for Ron!)

I was the first Sockol daughter-in-law, the first girl in a family of four boys, and from day one Ron and I became fast friends. He encouraged me to lean into my leadership and creative abilities, and he did it with a mix of warmth, kindness, and his trademark one-liners that could light up any room. Ron was charming, self-effacing, and endlessly positive—he had a way of sweeping you along with his “can-do” spirit. I will deeply miss how he made every space a little warmer, a little lighter, and a whole lot more fun. Love you Ron

Such an amazing life Ron had - from a small town in VT to Brookline and then Needham. He touched so many lives.
You could see his joy in his work and with his family - his tag line "Remodeling Can Be Fun" represented how he enjoyed life.
Ron came to my childhood home in Newton to quote on a home (Den) addition but wasn't hired until he did an addition for me 35+ years later in Needham. And what a great job he did with his son Jimmy!!
Our condolences to the Sockol family.
