FRAPPAOLO, Carl "Frapp" Joseph 56, of Jamaica Plain, passed away on March 17, 2013. He was born in Oyster Bay, NY on March 27, 1956 to the late Theresa (Villani) and Genari (Charlie) Frappaolo. His childhood was spent in the cherished company of his large, loving Italian-American family. Carl graduated from SUNY University at Buffalo in 1978 where he met and later wed his wife Ann Finnerty; they have been married for 25 years. Carl was widely recognized as an industry thought leader on knowledge management. Carl founded three companies including Delphi Group and Information Architected. As a consultant, he developed the knowledge management strategies for many organizations around the world in both the public and private sector. At the time of his death, Carl was the Director of Knowledge Management at FSG Social Impact Consultants in Boston. Carl is survived by his loving wife Ann Finnerty, his beloved daughters Anna and Teresa Frappaolo of Jamaica Plain, MA; his brother Robert Frappaolo and sister-in-law Alice Norman of Indian Hills, CO; his sister Colette Frappaolo and partner Laura Taaffe of Staten Island, NY; his nieces Nicole, Laura and Genna Frappaolo of CO, many beloved cousins, extended family members and countless friends of all ages. All who knew Carl have laughed harder, sung louder, danced more wildly, and cheered and clapped more fervently in his presence. He was generous, thoughtful and fun - this was evident at his holiday feasts, through his love of travel and any time spent with family and friends on Bear Camp Pond in Sandwich, NH. Above all else, Carl treasured parenthood and family-life - he was the consummate father of Anna and Teresa and a devoted husband to Ann. Life with Carl was passionate in all ways - he will be deeply and widely missed. Funeral Mass Thursday March 21st in St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 28 Commonwealth Avenue, Chestnut Hill, at 2 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Private.
