My condolences to your family for your loss of a wonderful husband and father. Dr. Wegner was by far my favorite professor at Trinity. My favorite memories are of him standing in front of a full class and speaking in a very low voice, forcing all of his students to listen more carefully. He had the small cartoon mounted on his office door "Speak softly and wear a loud shirt." He will be missed, and I consider myself blessed to have known him.

I had the privilege of being taught by Dan in graduate school at Trinity University in San Antonio. He was an excellent professor-- clever, curious and passionate about his work. And he was patient with his students, fledglings like me, embarking on a new world of exploration of the human mind and psyche. My sincere condolences to his family.
