I knew Delia as Meme. The moment I met this woman it was like meeting a saint. Her kindness and her love for family and even total strangers is contagious. I love you Meme. I pray we meet again in heaven where we can all rejoice for ever in the presence of God.

Barbara and Family;
So very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was - without a doubt - one of the most special people I have ever known. I cherish all the memories that I have of her. She was so vibrant - so positive - so energetic - so kind - and soooo very proud of her beloved husband, her daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren. And as I just learned - her great grand children. God bless Delia, a woman of unshakeable faith. We laughed so much together and always enjoyed seeing each other. And I know that among myself, Garry and Bruce, that I was her favorite!! And, Barbara, I am blessed that you became such a good friend. So many memories. All very good.
Wishing you peace and sending you love.
You're all very special to me.

Delia was such a strong person with a huge presence in many lives. You could not grow up in Wakefield in the 70's and not know her and her husband Dom. I have many fond memories of her and family spent so much time with them. My dad loved talking to Delia about the old days and golfing with Dom. She was a sweet soul who I loved to catch up with when she took her nightly walks along the side of the lake during the early evenings. To her family, please know that she will stay in many hearts....her's was a life very well lived.

Delia and my father worked together at American Mutual. My dad always spoke so highly of her and the baking that she would do around the holidays. I finally met Delia one day when I was walking with my dad uptown, years after they had retired. She never forgot who I was. Every time she saw me, she would smile that beautiful smile and ask how my dad and mom were doing.
My condolences to the family. She will be missed by many,
