Denis O'Connor

Of Braintree, formerly of Cork, Ireland, February 29, 2004. Beloved husband of Margaret P. (O'Neil). Devoted father of Denis and his wife Jane of York, ME, MaryDenise O'Connor and her husband James Kidney of NH, Kevin of NY, Sheila O'Connor of Braintree, Patricia and her husband Thomas Bates of Franklin. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. Recipient of All Ireland Football Medal, 1945, National League Medal, 1950 with New York, and a member of the Cork Football Team of the Century. Funeral from the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St. (Rte. 37), BRAINTREE, Wednesday, March 3, at 9:30 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. of Francis Assisi Church, South Braintree Square at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the funeral home Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Arlington.
