Eleanor McMonagle Obituary

Age 86 of South Weymouth died at home Oct. 12, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Douglas B. McMonagle. Devoted mother of Mary Lou and her husband Jason Otteman of Framingham, Susan Irene and her husband Lawrence Moloney of Lexington, Patricia Ann and her husband Tom Peelen of South Dartmouth, Thomas Craig and his wife Anne McMonagle of Andover and Robert Douglas and his wife Maggie McMonagle of Miami, FL. Sister of the late Mary Szczerban of CA. Sister of William Dempsey of Weymouth and the late John Dempsey and Robert Dempsey. Ellie is also survived by nine grandchildren and many devoted nieces and nephews. Funeral from the SOUTH WEYMOUTH McDonald Funeral Home at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.) Monday at 10:15 A.M. Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, South Weymouth at 11:15 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting Hrs. Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery, South Weymouth. For those who wish, donations may be made in Eleanor's memory to the Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Bay State Dr., P.O. Box 859060, Braintree, MA. 02185-9060.

I remember what a great lady Mrs. McMonagle was . She was always so sweet and fun. I was friends with Susan in high school and always enjoyed talking to her mother.
