JANE HORSMAN Obituary

HORSMAN, Jane A. Age 95 was born May 28th 1930 in Somerville, MA – the only daughter of Warren F. Horsman and Jennie (Rooney) Horsman. Jane passed at home on 11/03/2025, in Berwick Maine. Her only Brother Paul predeceased her in 1989. Jane graduated from Arlington High School in 1949 and later lived in Lexington, Mass till about eight years ago to be closer to her son Eric Blair and son-in-law Peter J. Narbonne of Eliot ME. Jane retired some years back from D.C. Heath Publishing in Lexington, MA. Jane worked early in her career for MIT Lincoln Lab, W.R. Grace and Dewey & Almy to name a few. Jane leaves behind many friends in the Lexington and Bedford areas along with her 'Best Buddy' Sharon Shay Gaudette (50+ yrs.), of Las Vegas NV. Jane will be remembered for her "… vivaciousness and tenacity," quoting a dear friend. There will be no services at this time. Private services will be for immediate family, at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send a charitable donation to MSPCA or a charity of your choice.

Jane was a very special treasure herself. I will find comfort in the treasures she´s left behind-the laughter shared at her birthday celebrations, the sparkle of her wit, and the warmth of her genuine kindness. Even though she´s no longer with us, her spirit lives on in every story we will tell, every smile she inspired, and in the many hearts she touched.

Jane was a wonderful fun-loving person with a big heart of gold, and always thinking of ways to make things better for those around her. She was a good listener and usually offered a different perspective, often just what was needed. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Rest in Peace my friend.
