HUI, Kathleen Kin Sang, M.D. Of Brookline, in her 85th year, passed away peacefully on June 6th, 2010. Beloved wife of Lien Pei KAO, mother of Yihong GAO and Yeetzou KAO, grandmother of Nanxiao XU, sister of Yin Man HUI, Yin Yew HUI, and Kin Mee HUI. Kathleen was born in Hong Kong, educated as a medical scientist in the U.S., and worked in mainland China over 20 years before coming to the U.S. again. An inquisitive and innovative scientist, Kathleen was devoted to pioneering research on the mechanisms of acupuncture by imaging its effect on the human brain for the past two decades. Funeral on Friday June 11 at 10am in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home at 376 Washington Street, BROOKLINE (Tel. 617-277-7652), followed by interment at Forest Hills Cemetery. Visiting hours in Bell-O'Dea on Thursday June 10, 5-7 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
